Founded in 1966, Trinity provides quality programs in the therapeutic environments to abused and neglected children, serving over 1,000 children on a daily basis.
Trinity Today

Over forty years ago, Trinity began as a small home for children, called Guadalupe Homes for Boys, providing shelter and support to six at-risk youth from the Los Angeles area. That small program has grown and expanded from the original six children to now serving more than 300 troubled youth across the state. Through five children’s homes in California, stretching from Yucaipa in San Bernardino County, to El Monte in Los Angeles County, to the City of Ukiah, north of San Francisco, Trinity provides care, therapy and services to children in need.

Many of the children in our care, who range in ages from six to eighteen, have suffered from abuse, neglect and abandonment. As a result, they often develop emotional and behavioral challenges. To assist children in confronting and triumphing over these challenges, each Trinity home offers a comprehensive range of services – therapeutic, recreational, educational and vocational. Our trained and experienced staff works closely with our children and teens using individual and group therapies, including a proprietary program known as GCL® (Group Centered Leadership). Each home has a recreational program that includes athletics, arts and crafts, games and other activities.

Since 1966, Trinity Youth Services’ homes for children have been rebuilding the lives of youth in crisis. Trinity provides the tools, training, and caring necessary for at-risk children and youth to lead healthy, successful lives.
