Inger has been with Trinity Youth Services since 1991. Her role is to plan, direct and manage recruitment, compensation, benefits, training and employee relations. She ensures that all programs are consistently administered, have compliance with professional standards, and meet state and federal regulatory requirements and laws. She is a graduate of Cornell University with certification in human resources and is also certified from the Council on Accreditation (COA) and Child Welfare League of America (CWLA). She has also been an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) for over 20 years. Inger is a devoted wife and mother, who enjoys spending time with her family. She is an active volunteer in local educational and athletic programs, including her daughter’s elementary school and a high school football program that is known for providing many NCAA, Division I opportunities for its athletes.

Cher leads our agency which serves over 200 children and families daily through residential therapeutic services, mental health programs, foster care and adoption services. We call our business offices “Mission Support,” because everything we do supports the programs and people that provide direct services to the children and youth in Trinity’s care. Cher advocates for children in need after experiencing her own childhood trauma. Her firsthand experience gives her unique insight into our mission to help children and families create a better future. Cher has been with Trinity Youth Services for over 20 years and prior to that, she worked in the music industry and as a professional actress. Among her many academic degrees and certificates, Cher holds a BA in organizational management from Arizona State University and post-graduate certifications from Cornell University and Harvard Graduate School of Education. In 2019, Cher completed her master’s degree in ethical leadership from Claremont Lincoln University. She is also a member of the first graduating cohort in a National Human Services Assembly (NHSA) nonprofit executive leadership program; a collaboration with Arizona State University, Indiana University and the Lilly School of Philanthropy. Cher has served on a variety of nonprofit boards and currently serves on the Human Relations Committee for the City of Claremont to help oversee their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion efforts, serves on the Policy and Practice Commission for the Child Welfare League of America (CWLA), is on the Juvenile Justice Steering Committee for the California Alliance for Children & Families, is a Design Thinking Department Advisor at University of California, Riverside and serves on the board for the Association of Community Human Service Agencies (ACHSA). In 2018, she was recognized by Senator Anthony Portantino as Outstanding Nonprofit Executive Director and, in 2022, Cher was named Woman of Distinction by Assemblymember Chris Holden.

Fr. John describes the opportunity to help the clients in our care as a blessing. He works together with our staff to ensure the agency provides excellent programs that equip the young people in our care for a better future with the tools, skills and knowledge needed to overcome the trauma in their lives. He was hired as a child care worker for Trinity Youth Services in 1983 and has continued to work for the agency serving in many capacities over the years. Currently, Fr. John is the Director of Quality Assurance and manages facilities, safety and operational integrity of our campuses and offices. He has a bachelor’s degree in broadcasting from the University of Tulsa and a master’s of divinity from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology.

Having over 20 years’ experience, Jackie currently oversees Trinity’s operations of foster care and adoptions programs throughout Southern California and in Houston, Texas. She received a bachelor’s degree in law and society from University of California Santa Barbara, a master’s degree in social work from California State University Long Beach and recently became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Jackie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children attending various baseball and softball games. She is one of the troop leaders for her daughter's Girl Scout troop. Additionally, she really enjoys running half marathons and aims to run 2 to 4 races each year.

Jim oversees the delivery of mental health services at both residential and foster care sites contracted by local counties. He also manages the implementation and maintenance of Medi-Cal and county contractual requirements. Jim attended Chapman University and earned a master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in marriage and family counseling then received his Marriage and Family Therapist License in 2002. He has worked as a behavioral specialist at University of California, Irvine Pediatrics from the late ‘80s until 1996 at which point he began working at Trinity as a social worker. He soon moved into the clinical coordinator role then took over as campus director in 2001. By 2005, Jim had assisted in creating a mental health program at Trinity’s El Monte campus with a contract through Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health and in 2016 Jim moved into his current role as Trinity’s director of mental health services. He and his family participate heavily in the sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and love to travel, eat out and visit with family and friends.

Gil began his career with Trinity Youth Services after working for the English as a Second Language (ESL) program at the University of Redlands in California. During his time with the ELS program he worked as a counselor for youth from other countries. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in human services from California State University San Bernardino. Since 1991, Gil has worked at Trinity Youth Services as a child care counselor, campus director at Trinity Apple Valley, then later as the campus director at Trinity Yucaipa. Gil became the Director of Residential Services in 2019 and oversees three campuses of male adolescents who have been placed by various probation counties. Gil continues to be actively involved in several county probation committees.

As an integral part of Trinity Youth Services, Christina works with the executive management team to develop and implement continuous quality improvement for the administrative functions of the agency. She directly oversees our accreditation efforts, performance data efficacy and contract compliance. She has been with Trinity since 1998 in various roles including Executive Assistant to the CEO. Aside from her work, Christina enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, relaxing at the beach and going to Disneyland.

Jenelle’s role is to access and identify resources for youth in our care. She is also responsible for maintaining a distinctive look and voice for Trinity through our online presence, media and community outreach. Before joining the Trinity team in 2016, Jenelle worked in publishing for nearly a decade as a graphic designer, photographer, writer and editor. Jenelle earned a bachelor’s degree in communications at California State University Fullerton and has won several awards throughout her career including a few from the National Newspaper Association. Jenelle is also very involved in her community and is active in her church.

Carlos works with foster care directors, social workers and certification specialists in recruiting resource families. His responsibility is to connect with potential foster/adopt parents and the community. Navigating the world of foster care and adoption can be daunting, but Carlos’ friendly and understanding nature helps put our resources families at ease. Carlos has 15 years of experience working in foster care in different capacities including program assistant and interpreter/translator. His recognitions include Bienvenidos FFA Interpreter/Translator of the Year 2000 and Bienvenidos FFA 10 Years’ Service Award. Laura oversees a foster care office of 12 employees and over 40 foster families that work hard each and every day to ensure that the physical, emotional and developmental needs of the children and youth in our care are met. She holds a master’s degree in psychology with an emphasis on marriage, family and child counseling from California State University Los Angeles. Prior to coming to Trinity Youth Services in 1997, Laura spent five years working with abused and neglected children in residential treatment as a child care worker/counselor. Once at Trinity, Laura started as an intake worker and at one point managed the Long Beach foster care office. One of Laura’s favorite things about her current role is the opportunity to be involved in the local community through the Rancho Cucamonga and Victor Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Doneé oversees the long term foster care program that houses unaccompanied minors from various countries while working to reunify them with family or a sponsor in the U.S. She has worked at Trinity since 2017, starting out as a youth care worker, then a team leader, dorm supervisors and now in her current position as a director. Prior to working at Trinity, she worked for LabCorp as a phlebotomist. Doneé has a bachelor's degree in health sciences and a master's in public health. She has won multiple awards in research symposiums for her work. In addition to her responsibilities at Trinity, she also is a member of our DIVE Team, helping guide the agency's journey to eradicate any barriers to equal access to opportunities. Outside of work, she is in involved in her son's AAU travel basketball team.

Teresa oversees the residential programming at the Yucaipa campus and closely works with the mental health department to ensure the youth are receiving the necessary treatment and support. Teresa has over two decades of experience working with youth in congregate care. She began working at Trinity Youth Services in May 1997 and has held various positions including office manager, assistant to the executive director, administrator of clinical services, assistant director and became interim campus director in 2019. Teresa is working toward a degree in criminal justice and early childhood education, holds a certificate in marketing and management and certifications in STRTP administration and group home administration. She is actively involved in community recreation activities and in probation and mental health committees.

Elizabeth is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Trinity Apple Valley campus. She earned her PhD in clinical psychology from California School of Professional Psychology Los Angeles. Elizabeth worked 5 years at the San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health, where she conducted intake assessments and provided therapy services for children and adults in an outpatient setting. In 2015, she received a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of Exemplary Human Services from the San Bernardino County Probation Department. She held the clinical coordinator position at Trinity Apple Valley for over 12 years, prior to becoming the campus director in 2016.

Jennifer oversees the overall functioning of the El Monte Campus including personnel, the safety of children and implementation of policy. She has a bachelor's degree in child development and a master's degree in marriage and family therapy. Prior to working at Trinity, Jennifer was a mentor and receptionist at Cal State LA and an MFT intern at Children's Institute Incorporation. While at Trinity, she has held six different positions since 2016 from team support worker, to enhanced mental health support specialist, and associate marriage and family therapist. Jennifer has been on various MFT support committees to help professionals seeking licensure, has been vice president of a social club focused on inclusion for children with disabilities, and has been involved with nonprofit animal organizations. While in college, she started her own dog sitting business because of her love for animals. She also enjoys hiking and watching crime documentaries.
